A Crystal-Clear Extension

The Board of Public Housing of Aisne entrusted us with the restructuration and extension of Retirement housing for elderly dependant people (EHPAD) of Corbeny. It is originally housed in a fine classical building along the road to Reims, close to Vivier, and other objects of natural or historical promenades.

The project based itself on a sustainable development approach, where equipment services man in respect of the environment and the quality of life.

The contemporary extension asserts itself as such. Rather than adapting itself to the heterogeneous terrain, this crystalline and linear wing plunges straight into the slope. An inner courtyard is created, staging flattering views to highlight the ancient building.
