Offices and specialized laboratories with a privileged relationship to the new districts of Nancy.

Construction of laboratories, blood treatment rooms, blood donation room, offices.

The new headquarters of the French Blood Establishment (EFS - Établissement français du sang) of Lorraine and Champagne must meet two requirements: to enable secure blood collection and distribution, while informing, welcoming and retaining public donors. The building thus arises as necessary equipment, open on the city. Its public and technical accesses are perfectly differentiated, thus allowing a comfortable and efficient welcome of its visitors. The spaces of the various services are organized rigorously; flows do not intersect, and blood donation is strictly protected.

The facades take their place between floor slabs of undulating design. These overhanging elements protect the glass surfaces of the discomfort of too much sunlight. Along the boulevard, their gentle curves give the building a feeling of serenity. Large vertical sunshades improve the passive protection of the building.
